Vehicle Description No Accident, clean Illinois titled 3-Owner, finished in Speed Yellow over Black full leather interior Turbo with nearly $29k of bolt-on modifications for sale.
It took my almost 1 year to find this after chasing only a handful available throughout the country in 2019.
The car has lived a great life in Florida for most of its life and just recently came to the Chicago area when I purchased it in 2019.
The CarFax report shows a very strong maintenance history from the beginning.
I had a Porsche racing shop and a Porsche repair shop go through the car with PPIs and fix things that I found unacceptable.
Most recently, it was freshly serviced within the last 500 miles at a local independent Porsche shop.
The vehicle needs NOTHING and even has a fairly fresh set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires within the last 12 months and less than 3,000 miles on them.
The paint has been metered TWICE, by two different shops for a PPI when I purchased it from Florida, HOWEVER the one thing that has been painted was under my ownership.
Nearly all rear deck lids on Speed Yellow 996s fade for some reason and the color doesn't match the rest of the car (insert my OCD).
I found that a Porsche Certified bodyshop in the Chicago area had a color matching scanner and can paint the deck lid by itself without blending into joining panels and I went ahead and got it done.
Other than that, there is absolutely no paintwork on the car.
My OCD makes me go a little overboard with some of the refurbishment/repairs (such as matching screws and clips) that were missing over the 20 year history of the car.
The car drives amazing and the full Tubi exhaust system (nearly $7,000) creates such an amazing sound that it makes you want to lower the windows and turn off the radio.
Every aspect of the driver's experience (touch/feel/sound) was enhanced - starting with a carbon fiber flat-bottom steering wheel, Numeric short shifter, GT2 clutch slave, CarPlay capable head-unit with rear-camera, Tubi exhaust system, lowering Champion Motorsports springs, tightening H&R adjustable front/rear sway bars, insane BREMBO 380mm braking system, and a 1-bar ECU tune that slams you into the seats after the turbos spool up.
Everything on the car is easily reversible to factory specs because everything is a bolt-on modification so if the modifications aren't to your liking, simply get a stock part and make some money on selling the modified parts.
THIS CAR IS A DRIVERS CAR AND IN NO WAY SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A MUSEUM OR COLLECTORS CAR.
There are a number of small chips on the front and there are normal wear/tear imperfections in and around the car.
Please do not come into this thinking you're getting a car that's got 1,000 miles and has been sitting in a bubble in a temp controlled garage.
Please set your expectations early.
If you want an amazing car that you can drive without many issues for the next 10 years, then this is your car! FACTORY OPTIONS:
