Position Overview:
The Server will take care of our guests, assisting in the taking of orders, delivery of food & beverage, and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Reports to:
Restaurant Manager Part & Full Time Positions Available Location:
Pickle Haus Algonquin Answer questions regarding the menu.
Take orders for food and beverage as needed.
Delivers food, beverages, and all other items requested by guests.
Ensures that food & beverage items are correct to how a guest orders and appropriately deals with any inconsistencies.
Maintains the restaurant and keeps it clean and organized.
Clean and reset all tables, chairs, and areas around where food and beverage has been consumed.
Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
Collects money from customers for food & drinks prepared and served.
Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
Requirements and Qualifications Extensive knowledge of steps of service.
Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
Knowledge of POS systems, knowledge of Toast preferred.
Basset and ServeSafe certified.
At least one year of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing.
Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.
Must be legal drinking age or older.
Compensation $8.
