Summary:
The Activity Assistant oversees the implementation of group activities to enhance the quality and enjoyment of life for our residents.
Job type:
Full-Time (weekend availability required) Activity Assistant Primary Job
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing daily scheduled activities for residents.
Lead groups, independently, with an energetic and compassionate demeanor, while also focusing on safety of those participating.
Drive residents to special events, doc.
appointments, shopping outing, and more as needed.
Assist with supervision of community and resident volunteers.
Activity Assistant Work
Experience:
Previous relevant experience preferred, but not required High School Diploma or its equivalent Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record must meet or exceed minimum standards of insurability by the company's automobile insurer The ability to read, write, and communicate with residents Outstanding customer service skills with caring and compassionate behavior towards others About Us The caring, professional staff at The Pointe at Eastgate creates an extended family that provides companionship, programs, and assistance with the activities of daily living.
